Getting to know her clients in order to give the best service possible.
Ever since Nathalie was a little girl, she wanted to be a lawyer and she would say so. A natural leader, she was always in the thick of things; always in the middle of whatever was happening, trying to get people to get along, negotiating peace, making arguments.
It is not surprising that her field of expertise is litigation. As a business major, she naturally thought she would be doing business law, but litigation seems to fit her personality the best. She enjoys settling disputes and mediating. A rule follower, Nathalie credits sports with giving her the guidance and the discipline to get through her studies and to consistently give her best at her job.
Nathalie is sympathetic and genuine. She makes it a point to know her clients well, to know about them and about what is important to them so that she can better meet their needs. And she makes it a point to be accessible. This is particularly important in personal injury cases where clients are often going through difficult circumstances. She has longstanding clients and is proud to be able to provide the kind of service that makes people want to come back.
Nathalie worked for a few years in compliance and disability claims for a large New Brunswick enterprise. When a position opened up at Bingham Law, she applied because she knew the people here, liked them and thought she would fit in. The partners thought so too. They welcomed her on board and four years later she was made partner herself.
