It is no wonder Terry chose law as a career, he was inspired by a legal tradition established by no less than six previous generations of lawyers in his family who rose to the top of their profession in New Brunswick. He began his career in Saint John in general practice. After ten years of experience, he decided to concentrate in the areas of litigation, insurance and personal injury. He came to Bingham Law looking forward to the opportunities in the growing and dynamic Moncton area and has stayed because of the work atmosphere, his colleagues and the continual growth of his legal practice. Establishing an effective litigation group, capable of handling all levels of litigation, was one of his main goals and one of his proudest achievements.

For Terry, litigation provides constant challenges in both scope and subject matter, from dealing with complex issues, to efficiently and effectively resolving problems. Terry has developed a wealth of legal knowledge and experience gained from 39 years of practice. He has handled a number of difficult and lengthy trials with highly successful results for his clients. He is recognized in The 2020 Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory as a leading practitioner in Personal Injury, representing plaintiffs and defendants. 

Terry is a fitness and sports enthusiast. He played intercollegiate volleyball throughout his years at university and at the club level for years afterwards. Through his participation in team sports, he met and has maintained many of his most important friendships. In fact, through sports is how he met his wife!

His colleagues describe him as energetic, hard-working, reliable, athletic, and entertaining. He would tell you he is determined, resourceful and devoted to his family. Terry is a positive and confident person. He always looks forward to a good challenge or opportunity.
