From founding Partner to respected Council: 50 years of experience and knowledge Ross started his practice in Moncton with his father in 1968, establishing the firm of Bingham & Bingham. Although his practice was quite varied in his early years as a lawyer, his practice over the years became focused primarily in the area of business law and he distinguished himself particularly in the areas of corporate commercial law, wills and estate law.
Ross was one of the founding members of the firm which began in 1985 and is now known as Bingham Law. He served as the initial managing partner when the firm was first established and again from 2009 until 2012 when he retired from active practice and accepted the position of Counsel of the firm. Ross continues to make his extensive experience, support and guidance available to the clients of Bingham Law and the members of the firm. He was appointed one of Her Majesty's Queen Counsel for the Province of New Brunswick in December of 1988.
Over the course of his practice, he serves as President of the Moncton Barristers Association (now the Moncton Area Lawyers Association), the President of the Elks Club (B.P.O. Lodge Number 228), President of the Moncton Club Limited, President of the Greater Moncton Y.M.C.A., Chair of the Greater Moncton Y.M.C.A. Foundation and secretary of the Junior Chamber of Commerce. He also served on the council of the New Brunswick Law Society and its various committees, and was a charter member of the Better Business Bureau of Moncton. He remains active in the community as a director and on the executive of the Miramichi Salmon Association, an active member of the Central United Church, where he currently serves as Past Chair of the Board of Trustees, and where he served on numerous committees.
